Let's Look At Ginseng

Recently I met a Chinese in a seminar and we picked up discussion. I had been interested in Ginseng for many years but hadn't met an Oriental that could give me detailed use of it. Mr Chen has used the root for as long as he could remember himself as a human being. I wouldn't bore you with all the details of our discussion, let me give you the core, which is about uses of Ginseng.
USES OF GINSENG:
In the book which is said to be the first Chinese book of herbs, by the title Pen Tsao Ching - The Classic of Herbs, ginseng was recommended for use in enlightening the human mind and also for the general well-being of an active body.
It serves as an adaptogen, that means it helps body recovery to good health.
Ginseng appears to help people suffering diabetes, but he says that research is not yet complete in this area of use, but there is proof already that it can lower blood sugar by more than 20%
because of ginseng antioxidant quality, it helps benefit patients with heart disorders.
Ginseng also serves to enhance body immunity and also promotes effectiveness of flu vaccines.
I'll come back to you on Gingseng, but for now I'll be making up my concluding final note on Ginger and Garlic.
Meet you here later. STAY HEALTHY!
